ReachRadio Guidelines - How to Get the Most from the Service

For content providers:

• We can only accept radio-friendly pitches, so keep this in mind when composing your submission. Some of the things you might like to consider are the provision of guests or expert speakers; competition prizes in the form of goods or services; appropriate news or updates, perhaps tied in to popular culture; anything else which a busy radio professional might find of interest.

• We accept that not every PR/marketing professional works for an agency. Independent representatives are most welcome to sign-up as a ReachRadio content provider, but please ensure you provide full contact info so we have the option to verify your professional status. This is very important in our efforts to maintain the very highest quality for everyone using ReachRadio.

• Please respect broadcaster's preferred method of contact. If they have asked for suggestions to be emailed, please ensure this is how additional information is sent, even if you know which radio station they work for and could contact them over the phone. Of course, once you have made contact with them and established your own business relationship you are both free to do whatever you want.

• Please note that this service is designed to put genuine public relations and marketing professionals in touch with broadcasters looking for content, guests, ideas, etc. In order to maintain the highest possible quality of service we will erase inappropriate or dormant accounts on a regular basis.

For broadcast professionals:

• We will do our level best to distribute your requests for specific content or material at the earliest opportunity. However, please spell out your requirements as clearly as possible. For example, we would be unable to distribute a general request for prizes, but we would be able to distribute a request for prizes tied to a holiday, anniversary, movie, event, etc.

• Please respect content providers' preferred method of contact. If they have asked for follow-ups to be via email, please ensure this is how additional information is sent, even if you know which company they work for and could contact them over the phone. Of course, once you have made contact with them and established your own business relationship you are both free to do whatever you want.

• We accept that not every broadcast professional has an email address which corresponds with the station they work for. Broadcasters with free email accounts are most welcome to sign-up to receive ReachRadio bulletins, but please ensure you provide full contact info so we have the option to verify your professional status. This is very important in our efforts to maintain the very highest quality for everyone using ReachRadio.
